When I saw thins brooch, I decided to buy it because I found it interesting. The brooch has Asian theme but I think it wasn't made there. Looking at the class cabochons and the setting, I think it could have been made in Europe. I have looked for similar brooches on line but have not come up with a match, mostly because the back is different.
The brooch has signs of age but I have no clue how to date it.

Your interesting copper brooch has a C clasp and rivet hinge. That would date it to the first part of the 20th century.

The information in that guide about C-clasps is unreliable: in several European countries those clasps were used at least through 1980s and possibly later. Nowadays many reproductions are being made in vintage style and with the same clasp, and the artificial distressing on this piece and the way the pattern is distributed as well as the cabochons being plopped on top indicates it's a much later piece.

I have seen a lot of cheep jewelry, mostly with rhinestones, made in the 80's and 90's with a simple c-clasp (made in Europe and China) but those pieces were easily identifiable as new/recent. This one is a bit different because of the subject matter and some real wear. Also, the glass cabochons are very well made and put in a carefully crafted setting. This is hard to see on the pictures.
The brooch came from a consignment lot from an older lady and nothing in this lot looked later than the 1970/80's. I bought a second brooch from the same source that I will post later.
So, maybe what I got is a "vintage" imitation of an older vintage piece? Does this make sense?
What makes me think so is also the fact that the similar themed pieces from the 1930's or 40's are a lot more detailed than mine.
