    SEAFOAM Zenith Arm Shell Chair DAX X-Base by EAMES for Herman Miller => Excellent condition + rare sea foam green shell is so nice...

    I found this chair at a small yard sale years back and randomly decided to buy without any knowledge of it's history, potential value, etc.. Totally out of character for me, as I had never even thought twice about considering furniture in that capacity before... I ended up getting a VERY good deal here and then started slowly learning more about some of the older furniture I am aesthetically / structurally drawn to. My decision to buy this one chair on a whim, legitimately started my obsession with studying and seeking out vintage + antique furniture.

    I seriously love this chair for so many reasons. ;)

      You have a 1st-year production (1949-50) indicated by the "domes of Silence" glides. After the first year, Zenith started using a slip-on boot glide.
