This vase stands about 4.5" tall and is about 3.5" in diameter. The iridescent feathers are carefully pulled through a white glass body. The rim is flame polished, and the vase is signed on the base around the pontil. c. 1980s.

Zellique Art Glass is known internationally for their finely detailed art glass creations. The famed glass studio was founded by master glassblower Joseph Morel in the 1980s. Zellique Studio was located in Benicia, California, the studio is now closed.

Beautiful. I also collect and appreciate early Art Nouveau style studio glass. It is amazing what these artists were able to create by hand.
