      I would say it’s almost impossible without a maker’s name. The generic JAPAN stamps were used by many importers, and there was probably a label with their name on it when new

      During the period 1921-1941 porcelain should be marked "Japan" and roughly after 1941, marked "Made in Japan", though numerous exceptions appears to occurs.

      I don't think it's possible to identify the pattern because there is no pattern number and no indication of the maker.

      Thank you. For a soup tourine it is very light compared to my others. It looks and feels very old. Thank you for all your help to figure this out. Maybe one of your readers has one and will know. Fingers crossed and thank you again.
