Found this and two other chests in a house that is being cleaned out. I believe this to be early 1800`s, hand forged handles and strap hinges. Possible a sea chest. Thanks for looking! Rob

Nice one Rob! Yes, the hand forged handles and strap hinges does indicate early to mid 1800's. There are others here on that should be able to give a closer date on this one. Great find!
