A little work or art, a wearable landscape painting!
I couldn't resist as not being gold, it was very affordable ;-)

Some age damage to the under glass painting, but very acceptable, a very long pin which helps to date it too.

4.2cm (1.5/8") wide, painting is 3.5cm by 2.8cm.
3.5cm (1.3/8") high.

Hand written on back fabric : "chute d'eau Suisse", aka waterfall Switzerland.

Thank you Jean, I had a typo writing 1850, it is around 1830/1840, early Victorian.

Martika, Inky, Karen, Scott, Rick, Bijoucaillouvintage, Judy and Beyemvey, your beautiful, stunning, so nice comments delighted me as much as contemplating this tiny landscape :-) Thank you so much for your interest and loves too!

David... You begin knowing my taste ;-)) Merci Derrick!

    Hi Kyra,

Our favourite Aunt has been back for a long time. Keeps deleting my posts when I question anything. Says the same thing she's always said - I can't find any information etc. thought someone here would know.

Reported her posts, but today two new items. Would you look at steptoe or steptoe1 and tell me what you think.

    Thanks so much.

Gary, so kind of you! Thank you!
Actual profile is a tribute to Charlie cat who died last week from a heart failure, even not reached the age of 4 :-(
He was so good at catching bugs on internet, and watching sex on the tv!

So sorry about Charlie, Pascale :-( When I noticed your new profile pic last week I wanted to tell you that it's so cute. Our pets take such a big place in our hearts don't they. It's all love...

Gary, I do hope your 22 old friend will follow you still for a lot of time! He is a cog (cat/dog mix!) as Charlie was, running to the door when hearing bell, and following in the garden...

Bijou, merci! Pets are family members to me...
The modified pic is really cute, Charlie loved his Ikea hedgehog, and carried it with him :-)
