i was going to start off with a Polish joke, but then i realized how awful that is! i grew up in a french canadian community which had a big influx of Poles around WW2, so Polish jokes and Frenchie jokes were the norm, but...

anyways... here are 12 very pretty pottery cups i picked up at the junkstore the other day. i think that they are Polish - but there are no markings or anything on them. maybe they are lithuanian? i think i've seen some similar online pieces which said they were Polish...

de nada, amigo - it was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet or I would have told you that you would need to make a Bulgarian joke.

I love these - do you think they were for vodka? Also not PC with the jokes to assume every Pole or Bulgarian citizen has vodka shot cups....

Love these colors! Must have had a wonderful tray originally.

they are a little too big for shots, i think. they'd be perfect for serving mexican chocolate with!
