Original 1960's OOAK Hippie Folk Art Peace Protest BOOT... yes, Boot (singular) - the other boot or shoe is lost to the sands of time, or a municipal trash compactor. BUT I just LOVE this relic of the sentiment of the movement. As you will see I have collected many items using the RWB American Flag as a counter culture statement but this one stands on it's own... (did I really say that?)... The boldly painted peace symbol makes this a hippie collector's dream.

i love these!!! i remember my babysitter wore one mocassin laced up with bright purple yarn, and the other laced up with leather laces, cuz she likes that she can choose to do it.
Wow - thanks, I must have missed these comments during the hectic December but thanks to all of you. I am showing this again today and I now have scans of all four sides to appreciate the full impact of this magnificent artifact.
