I found this bracelet, dirty and unloved, for £1 It cleaned up nicely and it goes with a number of necklaces that I have :)

The "stones" are glass made to look like gemstones, and set in what I think is copper under some silver coloured plating. You can see the copper coming though a couple of worn places on the back.

There are no marks on it. I thought it might be Czech glass but then I saw the Mexican bracelet that freiheit posted the other day and though the glass looked the similar.

So what do you think - European or Mexican?

That's very interesting! Are you sure the "stones" are glass?

Thanks lentilka and Efesgirl for the comments. The "stones" look and feel like glass, but they could be ceramic I suppose - whatever they are, the bracelet is heavy! They're definitely not actual stones.

Thanks also to racer and martika for clicking love!

This would be easily cleaned with no damage. I just make sure I never use water or any cleaner on rhinestones as it rots the foils very often. Beautiful bracelet.
