this is an old plaster statue of Michelangelo's Pieta. my very catholic family had one of these in our guest room. i found it in the dump and stuck in my garden where it got nice and mossy. the moss makes up for the lack of a head on the madonna.

It still looks great and the moss gives it even more character.

You could always sculpt a slightly larger head, fire it so it shrinks, and Gorilla Glue it on.
