This is one of 2 H.R. Giger posters I have. This one is titled 'Birth Gun'.
H.R. Giger was a Swiss Surrealist painter, sculptor and artist. He was most famously known for creating the 'Alien' figures. for which there are numerous movies out. A bad note is that he never got the full credit he deserved for creating that creature. All his paintings are very dark and surreal. Dealing with sometimes evil and scary subjects. He has since past away in 2014.
He also did a few works for some rock bands. Most notably for Emerson Lake & Palmer's 'Brain Salad Surgery' album. Side note to that is the original paintings were stolen in 2005. I still think a reward of 10,000$ is still being offered for their return.
