      It says Kentucky on the ribbon I think........and the medallion is the state seal....that's about all I could find!!

      A photo of the clasp would help. Some of the members are experts in military ribbons and such, they can prob help you with ID, my wild guess is this is a Civil War ribbon.

      and says united we stand divided we fall on the metal.
