an ebay find.
boy my scanner really washed this one out, so i apologize if my edit looks a bit funky on the first image. i love memorial cabinet cards portraying floral arrangements, so this was a perfect addition to my CDV collection!

What's interesting is that the arrangement appears to be in the shape of an anchor.
it is! i've seen many mourning flowers lovingly arranged into beautiful pieces of art shaped like anchors, hearts, and other symbolic shapes of the victorian era!
Nice floral arrangement.
I am a fan of Cummings-- I have several of his cdvs from the Civil War era. He had several elaborate backdrops that he used in those images.
