I too, love to read the back of cards so much! It lets you in on the life and times of the folks. One thing makes me happy that I was born so many decades later is I notice that so many families mention sickness of a kin living with them back then, Babies thrive now. I read around the turn of the century families lost one out of 6. We have certainly turned that around!!(inoculations, vaccinations, and medicine advances)--we have much to be thankful for! Thanks for your comment!
