from my grandfathers desk, when you just need to punch one single hole. Vintage Wilson Jones Hole Punch No. 57 Cast Iron
Hole punch works Great. I guess its from the early 1940s
Punches hole size 1/4 inch
That little jewel has some real history. Originally manufactured by Samuel C. Tatum from around 1912 to 1922. Tatum then sold all Hole Punch products to a company called Delmar. Delmar sold out to Wilson-Jones in the late 1920's. The Wilson Jones "Pet" has been around for more than 70 years. Hasn't changed one bit.
that is so cool to learn! My grandfather died in 1953 and its been a keepsake to me since I never knew him. I was always impressed by it's bulk and weight- probably could punch almost anything!

I know what you mean, Not only did he own it, but he used it, touched it. His memory lives on. Very nice.
