Oils and age have changed the turquoise to different colors from aqua to sky to green in this lovely old Zuni ring. It is unsigned but has an interesting sterling size band inside that allowed this size 6 ring to fit a size 5 finger.
Lovely silver/turquoise you have shown today Valentino.
I particularly like the bezels on this.
It's wonderful~! I am a huge fan of Native American jewelry.
Beautiful! You have quite a bunch of turquoises :-)))
i like this much! very great to see how real turquoise look like
Thanks Karen - was talking w/a friend about collecting turquoise. I wanted to show her my blue turquoise. This is an old ring. It's very fine work - the points are only about 1/8" long.
Thanks Bonnie - Me Too!
Thanks Kyra - When I was in college late 70's I worked at a Turquise kiosk but couldn't afford anything then. My collecting is mainly from 90's on.
Thanks fleafinder - many wonderful research books out there. I only have some modest pieces.
Thanks everyone for loves: Judy, Fort, Hel1, Marta, Mike, Gudrun, Aura and Katherine :-)
This is a great ring. Early to pre Fred Harvey era for sure. I love how they used the different colors in the stones too. I posted that bracelet similar to yours today.
Thanks Share - I think the stones aged differently. I love this ring - thanks for enjoying it too. I got to get a better camera :-)
Thanks for loves: Roy, Kevin, Scott, Elisabeth, Phil, Rick and Sean!
