here's another cool thing from my local goodwill. the place is pretty full of junk - the most boring and bad stuff, but they get lots of interesting things on a fairly regular basis - like this and the Monterey Jade Dolphin i found. both this piece and that one are in pretty perfect condition too.

i've seen similar ones go for sale which had a glossy glaze. i like this matte glaze much more.
Shawnee made different versions of this planter, I have another model #624, earlier number but my guess is later era than yours, which looks Art Deco.
