This piece was in a box of stuff that given to me. It has no markings that I can find. I believe it part of a ring, but I'm not sure. It is missing a couple stones. Its very unique and I would like to know more about it but I have been able to find any information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't think it was a ring in it's previous life. All those holes are what puzzles me.
I know, it's driving me crazy trying to find anything so I can know what it was. And I guess the reason I immediately thought ring is because it sits perfectly on my index fingers.
You win the prize for posting the most oddball object of today. I'm sure when someone breezes in and knows exactly what it is then we will be kicking ourselves and saying, "WHY didn't I think of THAT!"

No idea really, but could it be sewn on to something through those holes??
Perhaps a lid handle of some sort of small box, those holes could be where the screws were fastened to the lid.
Believe it might be a brooch designed by Harry SchrienerSchreiber. Possibly?
