Hi everyone, some gorgeous chairs on here.
I have had this captains chair for about a year now, fell in love when I found it on eBay. She wanted £85 but got it down to £40 as she was leaving the country. The only thing is I don't know much about the chair, what's the age? What's it worth? What does the mark in the picture stand for? Any help would be brilliant, I'd like to appreciate what I'm owning. Also any tips on how to get the chair back to its formal glory, looks like someone has coated it with something maybe to much Varnish.

I would just oil it, if there are any scatches you can use a coloured furniture oil available at any walmart. Very nice chair. It looks like the company that made it put their owns spin at the top there.
