    katherines…
    (243 items)

So despite having a chip in the base, I had to have this bowl, the roses in high relief, and green is my favorite color. If our Sir TallCakes or one of our other glass experts can help me with the pattern or maker or era, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

MYSTERY SOLVED: Thanks to both TallCakes and antiquerose for identifying this as Imperial Glass 'American Beauty Rose', what a lovely name for a lovely pattern.

you're very welcome. Imperial has this as pattern #489, but are several AKAs for the pattern also including 'Lustre Rose' and 'Rose'. One catalog names this color 'Helios' which is described as silvery iridescence on green glass. The form was called a fruit bowl...

Yes, It is a beauty. I have a bowl in opaque glass, but mine has the 3 "toes" on the bottom.
