I agree with Manikin on the reproduction thought. More info on another doll with the same number, 165110.

Without a radiocarbon sample it's difficult to say (grin) , as artists are reproducing from the old antique doll molds even today. They just can't duplicate the original slip, face paint etc. which is a clue she's not antique.

For selling purposes, I'd stick to the facts that can be known in describing her as best you can, from what you can see. Take good pics, tell her size etc., is the number all in a line 165110 or is it broken up? 165 10 0, this may tell what doll mold she is from, 165110 - is as far as I can tell is more digits than most molds, which are usually no more than 5 numerals, unless found as a stamp on the body. It's possible this is a copy of Hertel, Schwab's googly doll mold 165, but I can't be sure as your numbered mark is not an exact match."

I missed your last comment so answering now better late than never :-) she is a reproduction of a German bisque doll called a Googly by Hertel & Schwab and her mold number is 165
Ceramic studio's would make molds of a real antique dolls head and sell the blanks for you to paint and they would fire them in a doll making class , yours was painted by a woman named Lolly who was just a regular doll collector . Googly refers to the big side glancing eyes the original doll had . Hope that answers any question and many of these were made in 1980's and 90's but they also did them earlier too .
