As some may recall I like to open every case I see at antique malls. That includes pretty much everything that can be opened from trunks to projectors and record players.
With this I was rewarded with a rich colorful interior along with some gadgets.
As can be seen it has reddish purple interior along with pockets along three sides. Nice frilly pockets.
This also has built in hanging racks. I am not sure how they would be used. But the one on the top folds down and the one on the bottom folds up and it is all good.
Beautiful! They don't make 'em like that anymore.

You and me both! And I'm one that thinks boxes of all sizes have something good inside ;) The inside of this is very nice...agreed. Is the outside painted wood? Or material? I saw something very similar on line is it was very costly! great find!

It is covered with some sort of something. Looks like leather trim on the edges with a thin veneer over the rest.
