Hi CW Gang ~
Older 12 inch Globe on stand made for REPLOGLE and noted LeRoy M. Tolman ( Cartographer ). Must have been a promotional item as it also has MACLEAN'S logo on it. Not sure how old it is, but I am guessing maybe the 1970's or so. This globe land areas are embossed ( raised ) areas. Hard to get with the camera. Maclean's Magazine has been around for a while here in Canada.

It must have been made after the Berlin wall came down as there's no East and West Germany or USSR, right? 1989? or else pre WWII

Don't think it's after 1989.East Germany is the clearly visible part in yellow and Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia aren't divided yet.
Shape of Poland was completely different before WWII.

When you take under cosnsideration a map of Europe you can see there Germany with its easter part(yellow) what suggests that the wall is still existing so the map is from before 1989.Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia were divided ,generally, in 1992 so not later than from 1992.BUT if you look at Africa you can see Zaire which existetd under this name till 1997.To sum up something is wrong with the naming of countries because Europe conflicts with Africa.Hope you finally solve this !
No,nothing is in conflict.It must be before 1989 because Bonn is marked as a capital city of Germany,not Berlin.I must have mixed up in my thinking.Please,delete my post from BUT to the end of it.
