Can anyone please tell me what this is.
It was bought about 40 years ago in a mixed box of items at an auction.
It's 5 inches high, with a flower or tree in the basin of the spoon, at the top of the spoon is a frog. There is a figure as you can see in the photo.
The lid has a cork stopper attached to it. The glass bead is not original I put it on so I could get the lid out.
It's quite heavy it weighs about 13 ounces.
Many thanks for reading this, it has spent most of it's life in a box, but whenever I come across it I'm puzzled about it. Hopefully someone can help.
Looks very Asian to me with the Dragon , Frog and overall design of the pot . It is very nice , sorry I have no helpful information . Does the liquid flow from the pot into that frog pond ? I love it !
Hello Pat
Thank you for your comments. I'll have a look at some Asian designs .
It is lovely, it has no lip for pouring anything out, but I think it must have had
liquid in it as the lid is corked.
