i picked this up at my favorite junk shop the other day. i think that the iron work is really fantastic. the table top is approx. 5 ft by 3 ft. although the surface has a lot of rust on it, it's perfectly stable and very strong. should i be looking for a stone or tempered glass top for it? should i get it powder-coated or leave it rusty? any ideas on when it was made and by whom?

I think it's cool sometimes to have old rusty things. I guess it depends on where you want to put it. Sometimes all sanded and shiny looks good also.

i should take a photo of this table today. I found a huge black marble top which fits it perfectly.
