Another nice painting I found this week. This one came from Saver's. A still life with Dogwood branches in a blue and white Chinese jar. I like the crisp clean execution. No listing in the directories for this artist. Just a beautiful decorator piece that heralds Spring even if it is a bit early. -Mike-

Good Morning Mikelv85. Something compelled me to search my grand mothers oil paintings today and your post/find popped up. My grandmother was a stay at home mother of 6 kids in her early 20's and took up oil painting later in life. She painted and taught from her home/farm studio in Ida, Michigan. I own a Berniece Iott. She painted it for me in 1982.
I actually stayed at her house when I lost my motel room. It's a EXTREMELY long story. I have enjoyed this painting every day since.
