The Bizarre African-American self-taught outsider artist B. E. Riddick worked on flattened grocery bags. I don't see too much outsider art on the site, so here you go. Hallmarks of outsider art include a unique personal vision, a consistent body of work, little or no awareness of the art world or market, and frequently work which exhibits an obsessive, driven need to create. The late Mr. Riddick worked in the 1970s.
