My newest Legras vase is a little thing - just 4" tall. I was really tickled to get it, since it is a miniature version of my favorite Legras vase that sits in my living room.
When I put them together on my sideboard, the song 'Mother and Child Reunion' by Paul Simon immediately came into my head. :)
Like it's larger 'mother' (a huge 5+ pound vase, 10-1/2" tall), this vase was made by Legras in a color of glass they called 'Violetinne' (deep spreading purple) in an enameled anemone flower motif. I love seeing them together; here they are in California, over a hundred years from when they were made, and thousands of miles from home, but together again. :)

Rick, thank you! The leaves are particularly interesting with the darker flowing lines within them. I wonder what technique they used to achieve it?
