Vintage etched glass serving tray of some kind with covered center. 12", 5" center cover. I've been unable to find anything similar online, nothing with a center cover. Anybody recognize it?

Paden City #555 cheese plate and cover c1940; cut motif is possibly third party

Thanks TallCakes. So you think that the cut/etching may have been done by someone other than Paden City? Was that commonly done?

Paden City used several of their etches on the pattern and Replacements has several examples. It was very common for third party cutting houses to also add their on décor. Hard to see the motif in the photos but it looks gray cut to me.

Thanks, guess I need a close up of the motif. I've not been able to locate another with the center cover, I did find a similar tray with a different cut. It's definitely Paden City, the edging was the same as well as the center. So, it seems to be fairly rare or uncommon but not particularly valuable based on other Paden City pricing I've seen.
