Every time I see jewelry with marcasite stones, I tell myself that I shouldn't buy it because the stones fall out rather often. I bought this ring anyway because it was a very cheap, large, and it is in excellent condition.
The ring is marked "925" with two initials behind. The photo doesn't show the mark, so I will have to check again and add that information later.
I am not sure about the age of the ring but I kind of think it could be pre- 1980's. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
Very "deco" looking :-)
Thanks so much for your comments, beyemvey and valentino97. I agree with the art deco look but because the ring is in such good shape I believed that it might be newer. But the condition doesn't have to mean much; I have jewelry I have never worn and therefore it is in absolutely perfect condition:)
It can be hard to tell age with some designs. Can you post a photo of the inside of the setting?
Efesgirl, I will try:)
My photo taking skills are not the best:(
It's gorgeous. Please would you tell me the actual size of the ring.
Hi Gillian, I will measure it when I get home, but I remember that it is more than an inch for sure!
I did check, however, what the initials behind the silver mark are: KL
Now I have to try to find out who that could be. I hope it is possible:)
