I have a pair of Asian vases that are very similar however as seen in the photos, have differences. One is 12 1/4" tall and the other is 13" tall. The bases are different shapes and the patterns are not exactly the same. It's as if someone tried to copy one vase and didnt get it quit right. Both vases have a single Asian character on the base as seen in the photos. I have no idea when or whom may have made these. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Bring them up to any Japanese or Chinese restaurant. They should know what it says at least! Beautiful pieces though!!
