I picked up this cup the other day at my favorite junkshop. It looks just like Niloak, but is not marked and it looks quite a bit newer than my Niloak pieces. it stands about 5 inches high. Maybe Desert Sands?

Did it come from the same source as the NERIKOMI piece ???
It might be Japanese too. Mind you there are English and Australian versions of agate ware too.
There have been several potteries producing this swirled ware and it is often difficult to separate them when the pieces aren't marked. The differences can be pretty subtle. Working from your pictures, my guess would be Pinto Pottery, the forerunner of Desert Sands. Pinto was the only one of the swirl pottery makers that occasionally used a gray glaze on their interiors. Desert Sands (and a couple others) used aqua; Niloak used a cloudy darker blue.
Niloak, by the way, is only almost always marked.
Just wondering if those swirls are inside the cup as well ???
Agate ware, marbleized, and scroddled are various terms used around the world to describe this type of ware. I am assuming this is American made. The shape is pretty generic but consistent with Pinto / Desert Sands products.
I'll go out on a limb, I vote Rosemeade because if the blue interior glaze
the swirl is inside the cup as well as outside - just more blue on the inside.
