Hi Everyone, Could use some help in identifying this Newel Post Victorian lamp. The shade is six petal type purple slag Glass in the original berries and cream style. The figurine is a French style femme/ fleur statue. No markings of any kind can be found on this piece which leads me back to French. It's stands 34 inches tall and is mounted on a thick black marble base. Any thoughts at all are appreciated. Thanks for taking a look. B

The lamp shade should be discarded as it is just the worst fit. I posted lamps several months ago which had shades ordered from france which were an excellent fit. These lamps are easy to replace the lamp parts if any needed from a lighting supplier.

this is already a late replica , you will never come close to the patina and the glass glance ,and this piece has suffered a lot, and it might have English fittings
so it always looks Frankensteined if you costumise one

and it is hard to get drumstick ladies ( bovine ladies)
