This necklace as been driving me crazy. I recognize the design but I can't found anything similar. The person I bought it from told me it was made by a well known maker but she can't remember the name, Sod's law lol. Anyway she did tell me to look into this necklace, so I'm hoping that someone on CW recognizes the design and maker.
There are no marks but it does test as high grade silver, the drop from the top of the oval amethyst is approx 3 1/2 cm. It is probably difficult to see in the photos but the 2 fine silver wire works are intertwined, it's a delicate pendant.

Many thanks for looking

jean, if you can add a photo of that lovely pendant against a neutral background, I will see if I can find something out about it for you.

Well, several different searches didn't yield up anything that looks like your pendant.

Hi Bonnie, I'm wondering if it could be a one off. I'm not sure if you would call it Art & craft, also I was thinking along the lines of Scandinavian or maybe Germany, frustrating to say the least. Thanks for your help :-)

Just gorgeous Jean.......reminds me of Scottish pieces I think......sorry not very helpful!!
  14. Peasejean55 Peasejean55, 1 year ago
Hi Judy, I thought about Scottish designers, Pat Cheney, Ola Gorie, Kit Heath, Malcolm Gray and Rennie Mackintosh. Unfortunately it's not their work, this pendant's wire work is a lot finer and I would say older. I shall keep going and see what else I can come up with. Thanks for taking an interest, it's much appreciated.

I saw this one Liberty&Co arts and crafts necklace that somewhat reminded me of this... (although it's much more ornate than your -beautifully simple- piece)

Hi Quantumphysica, thank you for your link. I have seen this necklace before, I also thought it had a similar look to my pendant and as you say my pendant is more simplistic. I've looked through Liberty pieces and as yet haven't found anything other than the necklace in your link. I appreciate you help :-)))
