My grandpa gave me these signs recently. He isnt in the best of health anymore and he is passing along all his older things to me. I am so honored that he is giving me the blessing of all his old antiques. I am just curious of year and value of these. I would never ever ever sell these, just curiousity. I know they arent in the best of shape at all, but any info would be awesome!

The siign with the young woman is from 1953. It is a very desirable image, with the artwork, I believe, by Elvgren or Hayden Hayden - both very well known illustrators of the period. It would have been displayed in a golden wood frame and was used in grocery stores and similar locations. Value in near perfect condition would be in the neighborhood of 900.oo. In poor condition as shown would probably be worth about 100. The sign on the right dates from the same period, but is worth less because of the less desirable image.
