I picked this egg up recently and do not know origin or maker. It has a marking but I have no clue ;). It is pretty though, and is in two pieces, not just a connected stand and egg. Does anyone have any info on this-Russian maybe??

I've never seen anything like that - it's beautiful. I wonder if it might have been blanks painted by an art student.
