Can anyone tell me about this item? It is a hand painted miniature of a woman perhaps of the Victorian era. The glass on top of the picture is a solid piece of glass...maybe crystal? The intricate details of the brooch are fascinating. It looks as if Glass, or something shiny and crackly is laid into the design. There are 2 marks on the back and I cannot read them. I'm hopeful that someone on this site can help me solve the mystery. Any information is much appreciated. Thanks Much! Also, this is about 2" tall from top to bottom.
