    Hello to all , I'm posting a Navajo rug that I had for some year stored in a plastic bag in my closet. I collect any thing that grabs my eye , this was among some items I pulled out a dumpster and from inside the home.

      Sorry, this isn't Navajo or Native American. It's a kilim, from the Middle East.

      Navajo rugs are never woven with fringe on the ends, as it is impossible to do so on a Navajo loom. They also use an interlocking stitch, rather than the slit stitch technique shown here.
