This is a signed Napier Brooch, with unending swirls of gold. A lovers knot. The signature is on the pin itself, you may have to enlarge to see it. The brooch measures 1 3/4" and is from the 1980's.

Like new! It seems people around your area loved buying jewellery, not necessarily wearing it lol.

Hi Karen, just like me. I love to collect jewelry, but hate wearing it.
Thanks for your nice comment. :)

Kind of neat. I have an old pair of ear rings that were identified as lovers knot but I believe they are marked Monet.

Hi Nutsabotas6, my mother had given me 2 big bags of some of her old jewelry & I'm still in process of going through it all b/c there's a lot of nice vintage pieces in there. Napier, Monet, Sara Coventry, & Avon just to name a few. This is one of the pieces, so thanks for posting! If ok with you, I may need a little help identifying some of them? I'll check out your collection on here to see how many more I can identify, though. Very time consuming & strains my eyes searching for logo through a not so great magnifier, so any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Antvinfan, I had the same problem going through old jewelery. I found a 40 power jeweler's loop with a built in LED light on Amazon for $10. Makes a huge difference for old eyes.
