Thrift store find. I was expecting it to be a simple, easy to chase depression era butter. But I have scoured the web generally for a week now, looked up Canadian glassmakers on the theory that hard to find stuff might be local, and searched every permutation of beaded edged, ribbed, and panelled anything. Nada. Not even one of those 'near miss' ones, where someone posts a picture to Pinterest or sticks it on Etsy, calls it 'vintage' and tells you nothing else. Forgive the rant. My new hobby has me ranting often!

Statistics: it's 7 inches across the bowl, 4 3/4 inches high when put together. Cover is 5 inches across and roughly 3 1/2 inches high. Base is 3 1/8 inches across the bottom circle, and 1 1/4 inches high, roughly. (Hard to measure. I have to find a pair of calipers somewhere for these awkward shapes. It's on my list with the black light and some decent reference books).

Tall cakes, I love you, and you SCARE me. How many rooms does it take to hold your identification library? I just bought my first reference book today: Canadian handbook of pressed glass tableware. The used bookstore had no depression glass books, but most of my puzzle pieces are causing me to branch out anyway. Thank you!

you're welcome : ) I do have some EAPG books as that is my focus and am often trying to ID a few of my unknowns, which often introduces me to a new pattern to add to my collection.
