Bought some time ago from the Isle of Man which may or may not explain that fact it is marked with the 'Kralik signature'. Unusual to find that on pieces here in the UK or indeed Europe unless they have made a journey across the pond and back again - which of course is perfectly possible.
The Isle of Man is a 'Crown Dependency' of the UK and has had some level of home rule since the eighteenth century. So perhaps exports to the Isle of man in the 20s/30s from Europe required this signature - pure speculation on my behalf!!!
