I have had this ring for a little while. It is a pretty ring with am amethyst center stone that is surrounded by enamel. The band is marked S925. Does anyone have any guesses as to origin or age?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the S925 means it's a Chinese piece, that with the gilt over silver and the blue enamel, also say Chinese export, early vintage, perhaps 40s or earlier judging by the style and the enamels. It's a lovely ring. :)

Actually after remembering this purchase the center maybe tanzanite and not amethyst.
