I got this brooch at a garage sale. It is so pretty. I was wondering if anybody might know the value of this item? It is made by Ben-Amun.

Ben Amun jewelry of that kind usually has glass stones or crystal, not gems.

I didn't think they were gems, but I'm embarrassed to say that I wouldn't know the correct term for stones like these. I just started collecting costume jewelry and am learning. Any info is welcome.

Did some research & found this information:
History: More than twenty years ago, Isaac Manevitz, the son of a jeweler for Egypt's royal family, began a fabulous line of designer jewelry called Ben-Amun. Pronounced ben-AH-moon, the company is named after the designer's eldest son (Ben), and the King of Egypt (Isaac's homeland) named Tutankhamun. Ben-Amun lines were popular among top fashion editors, who frequently feature his designs on the covers and pages of publications such as Glamour, Vogue, Elle, Mademoiselle, and others. He is still in business.
Also found a website for the company:
