Hi CW Gang ~
Have this Zippo lighter. It is a bit smaller than a regular Zippo lighter. I will try to remember to get a pic of it beside a standard size Zippo lighter. Have no idea of the age of this lighter at all...any one know? Greatly appreciated for that info. Thanks.

Wonder if its a romantic souvenir of a J and a V's time at Niagara. Wonder if Marilyn was making a movie there at the time ? So many questions for such a nice lighter.
It was made in 1989 according to Zippo database.
It's called a Zippo Slim. Fhrjr2 is right 1989.
I used to collect Zippos so saved their info database site to look them up. Sent all but one to my son who collects also. The one I saved I am still researching before I send it for repair then to my son. The one I saved has a French foreign legion insignia on the wrong side of the lighter. I know the history of the lighter etc. it is the insignia location I question. Possibly trench art from when the French were fighting in Vietnam before we got involved.
