These are two of my favorite pieces from my Fahrner collection. The pendant/brooch is signed Fahrner and the necklace is signed Fahrner and Murrle Bennett. They are attributed to Eric Kleinhempel, a designer for Fahrner, circa 1906-1908.

Great pieces of jewellery, it's interesting that the pendant/brooch is signed Fahrner/ Murrle Bennett.

Thanks so much for the lovely comments TassieDevil, racer4four, Peasejean55, kyratango, and Wandlessfairy! :)

Peasejean55- I agree it is interesting, I have not seen many Eric Kleinhempel designed pieces with the Murrle Bennett mark.

These are interesting in relation to the other discussion we've been having about the Farhner pieces you've posted because I have a pendant in this style that's unmarked.

I've never really been sure because Seybold also made very similar jewellery. (It's possibly even the same line - its possible they sold to each other - and stamped the pieces with their own mark). It does have a long fringe which I strongly associate with Farhner.

I also have a piece by Knupfer that has both the TF & MBCo mark on it.

It would be interested to know more about the TF & MBCo relationship and the MBCo relationship with Liberty.

That is interesting that you have a similar pendant that is unsigned. It does make you wonder whether the companies tried to copy each other's work or had some kind of partnership to sell their work. It's a shame so much information has been lost over the years.
