hard to tell from pictures, but appears to be a flat top from around 1890's to early 1900's, appears to be canvas covered, this is the biggest flat top I've seen, your tray is in backwards, hat box goes on the right in this case. Do you plan to refinish?
Thank you for the comment. I am not for sure yet, I know I want to clean it up a bit, a friend is giving me one of her restoration books to see if I'd be interested.
