Family Pin

This has been passed down from one generation to the next in my family, and no one knows anything about it. I have searched all over the web and and have found nothing even close to what it is or means, a friend of mine told me to try here. It looks like it is made out of brass and my family comes from Eastern Europe, mainly Sweden, my father has researched our family back to Sweden to the 1600's if that helps. If someone here could help me or point me in a direction I would appreciate it. I am not sure if the symbols mean anything or what they are.
