Aquired this beauty from Goodwill. I actually have found existing photos of this exact brooch. I was thinking possibly an unsigned Trifari but I'm discouraged from that thought now. There are millions of butterfly brooches but, so far, I haven't seen many with mechanical wings.

Ken was correct in defining the search terms, under articulated butterfly several of these appeared on etsy and eBay but no one knew where to look for the hallmark.
