      My Scottish grandmother had one (different design) in brass and she called it her table butler. It was used to brush the table cloth of toast or cake crumbs. Yours is a beautiful design more sophisticated.

      Yes, thank you. I found out it is metawa from Holland...Pewter. Purchased at an Estate Sale for $6.00.
