It's a short drive, from my home to the Concord Flea Market, and one that I enjoy taking almost every weekend, at least the ones that aren't rainy.
This is my view on the way home looking back, because when I go in the morning it's normally dark. The 1st picture is looking north, cows to keep the grass down, 2nd is southeast, toward Mt. Diablo, 3rd is south to Concord, and 4th west, down the road, get on Highway 4 go about 3miles, and left around the bend, take the first exit, go to the right, around and under the freeway, and there's the Flea! What treasures will there be! :^)
Next Post, The Concord Flea Market, at the Solano Drive-in Theater!
    Thanks for looking! :^)

And here, it's very rare to see nothing but grass for more than a mile. We have trees and buildings where there are not trees, and then the corn where there are no buildings, and where there is not trees, buildings, or corn, there is mud and weeds when I drive by. LOL.

Thanks for your comment SpiritBear, It is misleading, I took the pictures because, most of the grass is dead and brown this time of year, but a very wet winter, and more rain on the way, made it such a nice look! Also this view is over the old Navel Weapons Station, that will be turned over to the city of Concord, population 134,000, that will be building a lot of the area you can see. :^(

Yeah Thomas kinda looks that way, but the other side of the cow hill, is the Sacramento River joining the San Francisco Bay! :^) Thanks for the comment, I always try to on both counts!

Hi Judy, I see you checked out my trip that I have to take to get to the Flea Market. It looks far, but only takes a little over 5mins. to get there from my home on the weekend, but the same trip during commute traffic could take 30mins or more!:^(
Glad I'm retired and don't have to do that anymore! :^D Thank you so much for the love! :^)
